why my cpu z shows wrong mhz always shoes half of mine cpu mhz and half of mine ram frequency

Hi, whats the multiplier showing, it could be case of disabling speed step in the BIOS, You may have to setup the memory frequency manualy in the BIOS as well.
Can you post any screen shots.

It always shows half the true memory frequency eg- PC6400 is shown as running at 400mhz instead of 800mhz.

Not technically correct definition, CPU-Z shows the actual working frequency but DDR is effective of 2x actual.
