Crackdown, Can't believe I am only just playing it.

I think it was the first DLC I ever bought. I really wish they would make a Crackdown 2 although I believe it is extremely unlikely.

It's a no go from Real-Time Worlds. They wanted to make a sequel and left it on the table for Microsoft, Microsoft took too long and Real-Time Worlds had already started development on APB and another game (as of yet unveiled), so it's not impossible, but much like PGR now, it won't be buy the original developer.

i must admit i only grabbed this for the halo beta
it was a great game - nice environment to play in and the special abilities made it unusual to play
i traded it in but reccomend it to any sandbox/openworld fans

imho the extra content should be free as the game only came to 900 gamerpoints IIRC

Gamerpoints and game content are 2 different things. The Crackdown updates for content are the finest we'd ever seen in a game at that point. They probably still are...

Saw them advertising for a shed load of staff recently, wondered what they were up to.

They're very secretive over their new project (not APB), apparently it's something revolutionary (or so they say). I'm definitely intrigued.
They're recruiting a shed-load of programmers, not any 3D artists (unless they see something they really want, unfortunately the didn't with me, but I'll try again - though should I really be wanting to live in Dundee :p).

They also mention MMO devs too if I recall correctly. Didn't realise they were based in Dundee.

I love this game! I only bought it because of the free Halo 3 beta invite thing when it came out, I have played this way more than Halo 3 since! I finished the game a while ago and have just started playing in the last couple of months to get all the achievements - got 41/50 I think. :D

Sort of wish I did not trade mine in now, all I got was £7 :(. Damn all I want to do now is play some crackdown lol.

I still get goosebumps when I'm at the top of the Agency Tower :D

Love the freaks which attack you on the streets of Shai-Gen! (after you've defeated Dr whatever his name is!)
