I think the image is too dark, there is not any focal point, and it seems like the colours are wrong, too purple/blue for my tastes, but then again thats just me. see what others think.

yea the colours do need livening up a bit it seems, and id crop out that blue structure aswell, i keep looking at it.. nice picture though mate

I'll try local contrast enhancing to see if I can reduce any haze which should hopefully bring the colours up a little. I thought the blue structure helped balance the buildings on the far left. I could try cropping a little sharper though.

Now heres an idea, how about I try to get similar panorama shots of the rest of the islands in the Firth of Forth...... Hmmmm....
