Just thought I'd give a heads up for this film for those who haven't seen it.

It's one of those films that takes your breath away

I was left sitting there in shock at how good it was and just closed my eyes when the credits rolled in awe of the whole film.

Sounds gay, but when you watch it you'll understand

Here is the imdb link

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0375679/

If you haven't seen this film, watch it, now  It was about 10x better than 28 days later that i re-watched last week, utter trash IMO

Paul Haggis, I salute you

It is a good film and very moving, but it loses its potency after you realise it's just a collection of artificially manufactured harrowing events.

I thought American History X was less forced and much better.

Aye I went to the cinema to see this when it came out. Came out of the cinema blown away by it, something which has only happened twice to me, other time was american pie 2 :D

I watched it after all the hooha from the Oscar buzz, 4 years on I think all i remember is that gun scene thing with the family.

I remember the feeling of "Good movie but i never want to watch this again", still don't.

Great film, seen it so many times. It was one of the first films I had watched in this style where different people's storylines come together, brilliantly done.

I liked it a lot, but wouldn't call it stunning. The role of "fate" seems to feature a little too strongly for me; a lot of the opinion changes of the characters are too circumstantial, and don't feel like they are connected necessarily to anything stronger.

And why on earth are you comparing it to 28 Days Later!?! They're totally different :P
