Crash update...

Yeah when you look at it like that, it could've been a lot worse. It seems to be the way, mine have always happened local to where I lived and never when I've been on it. Funnily enough (sic) I fractured my left Ulna and Radius...but only needed a few pins. The exhaust on your leg was horrible bad luck!
I've plates on my Radius, whoever was doing the notes did a few grammar mistakes too...

A hairline fracture is still a fracture, otherwise they wouldn't have pinned it.
True, I'm happy my knees and left shoulder blade is all in one piece the bruising was bad...

Keen to, but it would be a rather selfish move at this stage.
I'm guessing family/children? Today, when I was waiting for my dad I went down to motorcycle parking area to have a peak. :p I won't be able to get on the bike anytime soon, money wise and I've muscle loss. But everyday, I'm pushing myself to get back to normal. :)

Another update :D Sounds like I won't need another operation! :D

Right leg doesn't require dressing, wound is healed. Now, I just need to keep it moisturised.

Yes; wife, two young kids, and a mortgage, which to be fair I had when I crashed, but the difference now is that my wife would go through too much worrying about me crashing again.

If she ever calms down about it then I might hop back on, but not without solid life insurance!

Your healing looks to be going extremely well. Fantastic that you won't need another operation. Is the tendon covering itself up then?

I see... I always said when I was younger, get bike first because if I ever have a family I probably won't be able to ride. Looks like I was kinda right.

Here're the pictures, you can see a white seed sized hole where the tendon is still exposed. But the growth over it is amazing, I'm trying to eat healthy... I ditched all the crap for the time being. I can't say no to chocolate though! :p

I am a ex bike and I mean over 25 yrs ago - Road conditions and car drivers frighten me - My only off was on gravel - I came through the whole of winter of 1962/3 without a off then as soon as snow and ice went I came off on gravel - total upside down flip and big ding on back of helmet - I count myself lucky as you didn't have to wear helmet then but I put it on that day.

Hope you heal quickly.

I was in hospital with a lot of bikers and ex bikers, everyone said the roads were better back in the day and streets weren't as congested neither did police give a f... about how fast you were going.

If it wasn't for the helmet, I would be dead... so Shark did its job. :p Thank you, the doctor said 6 months, I think in total it'll be 4 months before I'm healed up. I'm seeing the plastics doctor at the end of October, the skin wil take months-years before it goes back to 80% of its original strength, that means I will never be able to do deep sea diving. (A bit random, I know... but that's what one of the nurses said lol)

Where I come from, the winters are like that most of the time. You can't ride all year round, its not possible even if you wanted to.
