The biggest message, worryingly, seemed to be dont drive a car because if a truck decides to flatten you there isnt much you can do

yup its terrifying how easily you could lose your life when you think about it. not just in cars but in all of day to day life. all it takes is one idiot or one maniac or one accident and thats it your gone.

Given, some of the videos are irrelevant and act as padding, but there's a lot of important stuff here. Thanks OP, stuff like this is a needed slap in the face sometimes.

The girl who had her boyfriend killed and then pinned to her...:(:(

i dont think we are the right audience for that video. you need to get idiots(like the ones in the accidents) and suicidal pedestrains to watch it.

What a stupid comment. It's appropriate for any road user as a reminder.

A reminder of what? What happens when you drive an XR3i on the wrong side of the road over the brow of a hill? What happens when you wait in a queue in a Russian tunnel?

A reminder of the dangers of excess speeding, driving without due care & attention, the consequences of a single decision without thinking? I think you're nitpicking tbh.

do you think good drivers and pedestrians with good road saftey awareness need reminding about what they already think about all the time while driving/using the road or should it be the morons, the idiots e.t.c that need the reminder? ask yourself if you need this reminder, are you actually a safe driver/road user?

You've not really brought anything useful to this thread. You've voiced your opinion which you're entitled to do as this is an open discussion forum.

You claim you've 'learnt a lot' yet you clearly haven't learnt any manners, politeness or when to shut up.

I'm sorry, are you telling me I need to learn when to 'shut up' because I disagree with your post?

The video you've posted is over dramatised, sensationalised and contains far too many random crashes of unknown cause. Furthermore, the links it provides to frankly disgusting websites (Hint: DO NOT visit the website advertised in the first minute of this video) almost certainly mean posting the video is against the forum rules anyway.

And you tell ME to shut up?!

You can't post a video and then be irritated when peoples opinions of it do not match your own!

I'm not irritated at all actually and I certainly wouldn't be irritated because of your opinions as quite frankly you can think whatever you like.

However your constantly pesimistic, condescending and patronising attitude are quite obviously frowned upon by members of this and other forums.

I never said either, I think both should. However I agree with you when you state that drivers causing accidents should view these clips.

ask yourself if you need this reminder, are you actually a safe driver/road user?

Everyone speeds, whether they admit to it or not. You never know when it could be costly.

However your constantly pesimistic, condescending and patronising attitude are quite obviously frowned upon by members of this and other forums.

Benny - let's not get personal and stay on topic.

Is there a particular reason why you are acting as if I'm the only person in the thread who hasn't said 'Wow, that video is amazing, I'm sure going to change my driving'?

I've said nothing that others have not - infact actually there are a number of less eloquent comments in this thread. At least I've taken the trouble to highlight why I take issue with this video.

I have a general problem with sensationalist media :)

Ironically the video you have posted is very 'pesimistic, condescending and patronising', so obviously you dont have that much of an issue with such things?

pesimistic(sic), condescending and patronising is how I would describe the video you posted and frankly the website it advertises for a minute (including in the preview picture) is disgusting.
