Just wondering if anyones up for this, I should be going with some folks. I'll have broken up from uni for a nice inter-term holiday the day before, so it'll be a big night. Rare to find quality dance music in Exeter and impossible to find decent trance, so I'll be looking forward to it greatly. Big fan of Sean Tyas's productions, yeah I know he's not particularly original but his tunes rock dance floors. Suprised there wasn't a thread on here already, I'm pretty sure Grrrrr will know about it though :p

I'm making a night of it of course, so if anyone knows of some decent places nearby to check out beforehand (never been out in Sheff), please post.

Hope to see some of you there :)
 
you'll have a FANTASTIC night :), the howard beforehand, crasher, then either the wicker or uniq afterwards

i'd really like to come, but work and money (card fraud :mad: )is stopping me :(

That looks good, I'm in America for 2 months as of April 20th so I'll be missing that as well as the rumoured Crasher Summer Sound System I heard pencilled in for May. :( Need to get to Gods, never been.

Yeah hope so, I get back in the middle of June so from then till the end of September I've got time to kill. :D Just seen this announced as well;

Definitely the Howard prebar beforehand, it's a couple of quid to get in and there will be 3 or 4 decent local DJs playing and music is always spot on. Almost all the crasher regulars come here first and it's quite literally a 10min walk from crasher. If we're going to do some kind of meetup (even if it is just to say hi) then this would be the best place to do it. It's a nightmare finding people in crasher

As for Crasher itself, very impressed that they've booked Christopher Lawrence, he doesn't often play out side the US. Expect a mixture of trance, hard trance and psy from him, he's on my 'list of DJs to see' so i'm pretty excited about that. Marco V is one of my all time favourite DJs so obviously looking forward to him and Ottaviani seriously rocked last time he was at crasher. Riley and Durrant usually do a decent job of warming up and Sean tyas i'm not really fussed about. And last and most definitely least Judge Jules is ****ing **** :p

Afterparty. I fully expect everyone to be hardcore enough to make this and will be very disappointed if you can't hack it! The venue is awesome, the guy who runs it is a top bloke and an even better DJ then expect some other high quality DJs to play as well. If we're lucky some of Mark Pledger's calibre might play again. It's about a ten min walk from crasher and will be more than happy to walk people there afterwards

EDIT\\ Probably worth mentioning if you're the drinking sorts, expect to pay £4 a can of red stripe and water is £3 which i usually refill in the gents. If you're the substance abusing sorts expect security to be tighter than normal because the event is being filmed for a DVD.

J00F is a legend, love Eddie H and hopefully Fred Baker will be as good as his productions. Shame about Oakenfold
 
Cheers guys. Yeah we definitely should meet up even if only briefly. Jules is overated to the max, I'm there for Marco V, Ottaviani and Tyas. Don't think I've heard Christopher Lawrence, should be interesting if he drops a bit of Psy.
 
I'm almost certain Riley & Durrant will warm up and i've just found out Marco V is on 4.30 - 6.00 (he's playing at gods earlier in the night) so hopefully he'll play nice and hard. I fully expect a fair amount of CL's set to be psy :D

Yeah, definitely. Quote this for the truth. Crasher is too loud to sound good without earplugs and you'll regret it for ~days after if you don't bring them. A meet in The Howard sounds good- I should have plenty of time to find someone to go with this time after this months debacle. :p

If Marco V is last that means I have to endure Jules for him (I guess he'll get the 3-4.30 set?) :( :( I hope he surprises me.
 
Hmmm due to severe money shortages there is a chance i might not be able to make this crasher. However i will almost certainly go to the after party anyway and probably the pre bar as well. Fingers crossed for me winning the lottery people!

I still need to find transport for this one - thikn my missus is on lates and the smart aint coming all the way to sheffield.

I couldnt drive home left handed at 6am after a mad one ;)
