Crasher Hyper Royale- Sat 17th March

None of us have bought tickets, but I'm prepared to go on my own. We might be going elsewhere but if not I'll be there. I'll ride up on the train.

Let us know if you do come along by yourself. I'm pretty sure i'm not going to make Crasher now but I will be handing out fliers for the after party outside Crasher at the end of the night. If you're prepared to hang around until 6.30 or so i'll walk down with you and it'll be somewhere warm with good music to carry on (or in my case to start) partying

I feel your pain, i guess the only consolation is we'll be able to listen on the crasher website. Although that'll probably just make me wish i was there even more :(

Heh, can't believe I missed you, I left just after Red Blue Purple, where were you handing out flyers?

Still not had much sleep so not totally with it yet, here's what I can; Sean Tyas was really good, can't remember much of what he played but he dropped Airwave pretty early on when the lights were still up. That would have blown the roof off later on but at that time it just rattled a few slates, got a really good reaction though for an early tune!

Christopher Lawrence played a fantastic set, had the crowd hanging on his every track by the end of it, was seriously impressed! Played a few psy-trancey tracks which went down really well actually, he had a really good, fresh sound and I'd be first in line to see him again having known nothing about him before.

Giuseppe Ottaviani was OK I thought, I was really looking forward to seeing him but can't help feeling a bit let down. Though his live show is extremely impressive, his productions are some of my favourite tracks and he seemed to have ADD when it came to playing tracks, not letting them get a full airing. It wasn't really the sound I've come to really like from him.

Judge Jules surprised me... nah he didn't, he was ****. Less said about that the better, but at least the chavs cleared off for Marco V. :p

Marco V was great, played it really hard, some immense basslines being thrown about. My only complaint was his mixing was a little bit samey, always using the same tricks which got a bit boring. The early part of his set trackwise was a bit dull too but it picked up.

Tunes that were played in no particular order (I'm terrible with names so I'll try my best) :p

Rank 1 - Airwave (Sean Tyas Remix)
FKN feat. Jahala - Why (Aly & Fila Remix)
Marc Marberg and Kyau vs Albert - Megashira
Nu NRG - Casino (Moguai mix) This was one of my favourite tracks of the night
Giuseppe Ottaviani - Through Your Eyes
Giuseppe Ottaviani & Marc van Linden - Until Monday
CLS - Can You Feel It? (Marcel Woods Remix)
Activa pres. Mekk - Restless (Dark Dub) Love this tune as well!
Giuseppe Ottaviani - Linking People
Beatz Cool - Bodytrip
Ronski Speed - The Space We Are (John O'Callaghan Dub Mix)
Blake Jarrell vs Dane Cook - Dude I Just Wanna Dance Another great track!

Edit: My pictures from the night are absolutely rubbish, heh, will see how my mate's come out.
