Crashing while in game on a new system (some advice please guys)

Just tested the new motherboard, can safety say it was the other board being the issue. Temps and such below. Will be doing an RMA shortly as today is the 28th day. :)

thanks for all the help!

Great well done, I'm glad you've managed to find the problem as it was pretty stressful for you. From what can be seen in that last screenshot using p95 you're peaking at 1.45v and package temps are excellent at 48c, but I assume you haven't any additional airflow over the socket area as the socket temps are high at 69c.However at least it's not the other way round which did on the other board indicate a problem.

Happy tweaking and enjoy.

Thanks, yeah was made easier but taking it to my friend's place an testing parts in other systems.
No additional airflow yet, will address that within the next month.

Time to RMA now :)

Thanks for all the help

Was this the board from the Bolton guys? Might be a struggle on the RMA front, particularly if it's just the FX-9s which it struggles with (they are officially supported, though)

I got it from OCUK.
well you have 28 days from receipt of order to do an RMA, today is the 28th day and it's pretty much been proven something is wrong with the board.

With OCUk you should be fine, point them toward this thread. I was mixing your thread up with someone else (who did get their board from the Bolton lot).

RMA request is done now. Told them everything and pointed them to this thread...again lol.

Also mentioned I have pictures of the condition of the motherboard when it was sent to me. So I can prove I have not mistreated it etc.
