Crashing.

My computer has been working fine since I first built it, all of a sudden I am getting random crash's, the computer does not blue-screen it just freezes forcing me to manually restart the computer.

I have literally no idea what could be doing this, at first I thought it was my copy of windows so I re-installed with another copy I had, it's been working fine for day's and now all of a sudden the same problem arises.

Computer Specifications

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
8.00GB RAM
Gainward GTX 780
Windows 7 Home Premium

Attempted Fix's

- Freshly installed Windows 7

Now I have no idea where to start, you guy's were very helpful in helping me build/purchase my PC, so I can only think you know what your talking about.

I am positive this is what the problem is, as it matches the time/date of the crash's exactly on two separate occasions.

Thanks for the help, I will be sure to check all sockets, I mean I do have two dog's and when the large package came although I was advised to leave the fury animals until after I had built it, there is still hair around..

I mean, I inserted 2 sticks of RAM into two random slots as it stated they could go into any on the manual.

I don't think it's a heat issue, although my cable management could do with a tidy.

My screen went black, all of a sudden it stated "your graphics" card driver has stopped responding it then crashed shortly after..

I did read on the internet about sound drivers, I had a problem with the sound and I installed Realtek on it's own which fixed it however I had all sort's of sound drivers from intel to my motherboard, I disabled every one but Realtek, the sound's working and my system has not crashed.

How would I do this, crashing seemed to ease of but it's back.

if another make then go to their website,download latest bios to usb memory stick and flash the bios through the boards bios itself

don't flash from within windows incase it crashes = borked bios and rma needed

Right got that working, ill give you a screenshot of the system information;

Does this mean anything or could help you figure out why my system is crashing randomly? I mean it's not even crashing it just freeze's, no noise, notice, blue-screen nothing..

that crash just means it shutdown unexpectedly,it doesn't list the cause

have you tried enabling xmp profile for your memory in the bios? that will setup the memory correctly for you

I have not actually, can you give me the basic steps of doing that? I appreciate all your help by the way.

Right what I am going to do is, re-seat both stick's of RAM, check everything's nice a snug, plugged in.

I know it's not heat, that seems to be fine, all components are connected fine, I just have no idea what is causing it..

Oh, not to mention I already re-installed windows to eliminate a software problem.

So, it's been fine for a few day's and yet again the crash's have come back. I really need some help with this guy's, if you need any information regarding my system or more details that I have not provided about the crash's please ask and I shall provide.

I will give it a quick read, I think I already gave the error's above a search and they were talking about audio drivers..

That error is not the one you're looking for. Event 41 in this case is you manually restarting the computer when it freezes hence the "lost power unexpectedly".

Can you tell me where I can find the error? The only critical error's on the event viewer is the one I supplied above.
