**** CRAZIEST PRE-ORDER SPECIAL EVER! MSI GTX 670 POWER EDITION ONLY £199.99 Inc. VAT!!!! *****

Will one of these SLI with my EVGA GTX 670 FTW it being a 680 pcb?

Hi m8

I am not sure to be honest, in theory yes it should work as SLI is based on GPU, just manually clock them both to the same speeds.

If it did not work you could send the card back un-wanted for a refund or you could sell your EVGA and buy another. ;)

So tempted to get this for the 700 quid PC I'm building for the neighbours kid.
But he's not getting the system till Christmas, do I wait off for AMD's new stuff and their 200 quid card?

>.<

What will the spec of the new machine be / his expectations (eg. wants everything at max!:D)?

Hovering over the buy button so tempted to do it.... was wondering if it's a worthwhile upgrade from a sapphire 7850? Gaming at 1080p

Same, so tempted.
I doubt its worth it though i only game at 1080p and already have the one 670.
But two is always better... right. :D

Great deal, would have been all over it if I didn't already have a 7950 with plans to Xfire in the future.

Just my luck, i ordered it with a 670 water block. No sooner had i hit order, i realised the block doesn't fit.

So no SLI for me, need the KFA2 one to come in for the same price im sure the block fits that.

FXAA is just a filter applied, so it's easy on the GPU - but most people find it looks worse than regular AA (MSAA, SSAA, etc.)

I generally found it looks worse than no AA lol (actually disabled it on Diablo III and Guildwars 2 to make the games look better :P). For me it falls into the same category as that annoying filter the N64 has that blurred the entire screen to make things look "smoother".

Still a better buy than the 760. The 7950s are on offer at £20 more this week which makes it less clear cut for a single card.

g...
does the boost look fine? what are u guys getting

Looks fine to me. The boost range of these cards seems to be around 1150 > 1200. So yours is towards the top end. Mine is "only" 1163 in Heaven (though a couple of times I've seen it hit 1178). They all do slightly differently, just luck of the silicon draw. Never seen mine go over 60C in games, but then again... it is usually pretty nippy up in Scotlandshire :p

Be happy :):):)

PS. Should be able (if you wish) to add around 50>100MHz via Afterburner or EVGA Precision.

Top card in SLI is being cooked, hitting 83° in Heaven 4.0 and so the fan gets noisy. Added a side panel fan as an exhaust (might try it as an intake later) and it is down to 80°. Only a crappy Fractal fan though. Have ordered a BitFenix 140mm PWM, see if that helps more. Might try turning up the front case fans.

Also it seems my roof mounted 180mm isn't spinning. Have to spin it by hand to get it going. Real bugger to replace if it is broken.

Performance wise I tried Crysis 3 and get a solid 60FPS at 2560x1440, so that is nice. Will try more games later.
