Crazy Taxi - Now on Steam

lool £5, needs to be under a £1 TBFH.

Under £1? and why is that?

You won't get it second hand for that price. Although you're better getting it second hand on a Dreamcast or something if you really want to play it. These re-releases have the in-game adverts and music cut out if I remember right.

£5 for how old game, do me a favor.

It came out in 2000, a lot of games on Steam are older and cost more - like Deus Ex.

One must take in to account the quality of the game for the price being payed, a game like deus is maybe worth what they charge for it, taxi a fiver...cmon.

So what? There's plenty of games on Steam that are crap or old, or both and at £5+ - same with any store, online, digital or retail.

It's a good game, yeah it isn't story driven or packed with content but it's fun.

Impressive looking for a 'relic' ;)

Was fun 10 years a go now it's a 5 minute blast and forget, £5 is too much for such a simple title. Just goes to show how steam can be a ripp-off sometimes.

It's hardly a 5 minute blast and forget, then again even if it was (which it's not) you have to remember it was designed that way because it's an arcade game through and through.

Last time I played it was in 2008 round a friends house on a Dreamcast, played at least an hour on it just having fun, yeah it's simple, but it's FUN.

I can get a hard copy for £2-3, IMO dreamcast Games best experienced on the actual console and not emulated on the PC. You can emulate it yourself for free.

Of course they are. I have my Dreamcast hooked up via VGA and it looks clean and crisp, much better way to play it.

Just because you can get a hard copy for cheaper means nothing though. You can do that for every game on Steam with the exception of digital only games or games purchased during Christmas sales.

Steam is overpriced for like...everything, not just in this case.

If they have made some PC specific optimizations like being able to select your desired res and maybe upscale the GFX to HD then I'm all for a fiver, if not then it's overpriced on steam or not.
