CRC Errors ?

Just had a look in my bios and my mem speed at 4ghz is 1068. This could be why my 800mhz mem is struggling. I can get it down to 850mhz playing with settings but it wont boot into windows again.

Hopefully the 1066 ram will solve these problems.. as it will only be a 2mhz overclock on the Ram @ 4ghz...

Thats if i,m assuming right.

Just set the Cpu to 3.6ghz with the mem at 800mhz and all is running lovely. Maybe i rushed into buying the Ram i,m sure 400mhz is not going to make a massive difference... lol.. Oh well to late now..

Could try running with a divider to keep your RAM in check while having your cpu at 4ghz?

Best i can get it is 9x445 with the mem at 890mhz.. this is with the mem at 400hz, setting it any lower like 333 and it goes well over 1000. The divider i have set is 2:2 which gives the lowest speed of 890mhz which i,m thinking is too much for my current Ram.. If that makes sense..

Should be as i can run it 1:1 at 1068 @ 4ghz which should be fine.

Will post hopefully tomorrow if all is ok, Thanks a lot for everyones help its much appreciated.
