Creaking from rear when setting off

Hi all,

Just recently i've noticed a strange creaking noise from the car when pulling away, goes away after a couple of seconds of actual movement. Only happens when pulling away, not under braking, speed bumps or slowing down etc.

My first thought would be the rear ARB bushes, but the car just passed it's MOT literally 2 days ago with no mention of this as an advisory at all. Is it possible they missed it?

Any other ideas before I start taking the wheels off and having a good nose around?

Car is an MR2 by the way.

Slightly binding brake?

yeah good idea paradigm. mk2 especially prone to binding calipers.

Id be going for rear calipers if you use the handbrake when stationary.

To be honest, I don't ... not normally.
