Creamfields lineup announced

This years going to be my first creamfields. How late do the stages tend to go on till? Also do they stagger the set times on the different stages much?

I think it will finish around 4 or 5 for the saturday night. Sunday it finishes earlier, perhaps 12 or 1.

There will be massive ques in the morning. I'll be getting there about 4pm with my day ticket.

Yep you are right. 4am finish for the Saturday event and 0100 hrs for the Sunday.

I'm Policing the event - which is usually very well behaved - big tip - try to get there early, the accesses to the Camping fields are off some narrow Country Lane (make sure if you are coming by car you have plenty of fuel and check your water) - some cars broke down causing problems the first year I did it.

Take plenty of bottled water too, from what I gather the weather is going to be fairly nice and you don't want to dehydrate.

Have fun and don't do anything naughty :)

What's all this about not being allowed off the site once you are on? My girlfriend bought a camping ticket but was planning on going home over night to spruce herself up and what have you.

Pretty crap if she's not allowed!

I'm assuming there will be taps on the campsite as usual???

Presume so, I've never worked on that section, been on the main fields normally. They have toilet blocks so I would suspect there are water taps etc.,

Bit of a tip - the events have been relatively trouble free over the years that they have been held in Cheshire. However one of the biggest problems have been thefts from Tents and Cars (not massively but enough of a problem) so if you have anything of value ether keep it on you or if you can avoid travelling with it, leave it at home.

If you do have a problem and need to ring Cheshire Police on the day, then the non-emergency number is 0845 458 0000 (might be an idea to pop it into your mobile phone). Obviously the 999 number (for emergencies can also be used).

There will be an onsite Police Station if you wish to make a report - there will also be numerous Officers in High-vis jackets on site - again if you have any concerns or problems please approach us, we're quite a friendly lot in Cheshire.

If you want to know a little more about Policing the event, you can take a look at the Cheshire Website - the relevant page is here:-

http://www.cheshire.police.uk/showcontent.php?pageid=1009

Bear in mind the event is STRICTLY over 18's - if you are over 18 and look younger - bring proof of ID otherwise you will not be allowed entry.

The Site operates on a Challenge21 system so you may be asked to produce photographic ID (passport or Driving Licence etc.)

If you are going have fun :)
