Anyone off to creamfields this weekend? Was just wondering how much spending money I'll need. Taking food and drink with me and won't be drinking a great deal from the bars inside the arena.
 
Wont need much then if you are taking stuff with you.
I've not been since 2010 and then burgers were around £6 & chips about £3.
Oddly alcohol was not too badly priced, no worse than Bristol bar prices.

Only thing to watch for was in 2009 and 2010 they thought it was funny to set fire to tents. You generally get a feel early on for where the trouble will start and we've been OK. First 2009 we had no problems, but 2010 was a little close to use for comfort and we left at about 1am on the Monday morning.

Gutted I'm not going this year after missing last year (but did go to Creamfields UK and Creamfield Malta in 2010) but both wife and I really busy last year and this so can't get the time away.
Plus living on the south coast is a bit of a trek!

Hopefully will go back next year :D
 
Yeah I've heard about the setting fire to tents situation. We're planning on leaving around 2am monday morning.
 
I've heard some horror stories of scouse gangs going around thieving and kicking in anyone they like. Not going to let it bother me though until I experience it for myself :)
 
Yeah just got home, woke up this morning in a pond basically. Streams running through the campsite under peoples tents. It was worth it just for Nervo and Madeon yesterday though they absolutely rocked it
 
Think that picture in the article is fake/from another festival. It was bad but I didn't see anywhere that deep. Saying that our campsite was near the exit so I didn't get to see other areas this morning.
 
It was taken by Organ Donors who are a Hard Dance group. Think they were performing. Not sure - the one underneath that is nearly as bad and they guy said it was taken from Creamfields.

Organ Donors are fantastic... wouldn't want to be swimming in turds to see them though!
 
ive just got back, my tent was near the entrance too like OP's.

there was literally a river running through the middle of our tent and it stunk like pure ****.
Had to abandon it there along with sleeping bags and chairs just floating round the middle.

so annoyed about missing the main acts tonight as well :(
