Hello all,

I have been tasked with producing some 3D panoramic walkthroughs for some venues, and wish to know from those who have possibly done it ways of going about it.

Most software I have come across is very expensive (easypano), does anyone have a free solution? Or even perhaps OWNS a copy of this software and is able to produce the content for me under their license?

At present, all I may need is a single position panoramic, I.E. static viewing position with the user able to see around them in 360, nothing complex like full walkthroughs of stairways / rooms etc.

I have a Canon 400D to do the photos.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Hmm, I have got the Aneesoft 3D Flash Gallery as free on the Giveaway of the day site(giveawayoftheday.com) when it's on sale, works well for me~
But it's pity, now it is not available any more on the giveaway. One suggestion is, pay close attention to those giveaway sites :D

If you only need a single panoramic, have a look at Microsoft ICE (its free too).
It works very well for automatic stitching, has the option to do multiple zoom layers, different perspectives etc
I'm not sure if it corrects the colour balance and exposure whilst processing so the images match, but given I've not been able to see edges or notice disparity in 250MP images i'm guessing so!
Cant give it enough praise given it is free!
