Hi Folks

I have a Samsung SGH-G600 and I am attempting to create new contacts from text messages that are sent to me.

At the moment I am manually writing down the number from where the text message has come from and then creating the contact which is a paint in the .....

This is probably dead easy however I cannot find where I do this.

Cheers.

If you go to the message and click options and view details,it should tell you the number,if you select the number and click save,it will open up a new contact page where you just edit the name.

This is where my problem is: If i open the text and select options, only following are listed:

1: Reply via message
2: Forward
3: Delete
4: Move to phone
5: Zoom View
6: Add to block list
7: Cut address
8: Print via bluetooth
9: Lock

If I select Cut addresss I can only paste this back into a new text and not into a contact.

Any other ideas?

Sorted!

You have to open the text, cut the address, paste the address (which copies the number to the dial Payne) then options and save to contact.
