Creating a network macro for updating program

Hi there, I would like to find a piece of software that is easy to use for creating macros that can be time triggered over a network for updating software on network machines can this be done easily? I know their is windows scheduler, but I need the program to pop up - do the update - then vanish.

And before anyone asks no this is not for viruses
