Creating possitive pressure in my 600t

Okay guys before I start ordering parts for my new build I need to sort fans.

I want positive pressure inside complete with filtered intakes to reduce dust.

I am thinking about -

Intake -
200mm Bitfenix Spectre Pro - 148cfm
Mod the optical drive bays and fit a 120mm Spectre Pro - 56cfm

Exhaust -
Swap standard 120ream to Corsair SP120 - 62cfm
H100i at the top in pull with 2 SP120's on top - 62cfm x 2

So in theory it should be Intake 204cfm, Exhaust 186cfm

But I am not taking into account how much air a GPU will push out, I haven't 100% decided on card etc but for arguments sake lets say a GTX 670 FTW so its on a 680 pcb and cooler so it will push quite a bit of air I'm guessing?

I have a feeling then that overall its going to be negative pressure still.

I dont really want the H100i as an intake and I don't really want to change the rear 120mm to intake as I can just see hot air hanging around the back of the case from GPU etc.

I thought about having a better 120mm at the front in the optical drive area rather than the Spectre pro, such as another sp120, Noctua or a loud Scythe with better cfm but I would like an LED fan in there tbh...

Thoughts?

id get the quiet editions of the corsair fans. i know the 600t has a controller but the corsair fans are not quiet even when turned all the way down.

my mate has the sp120 performance editions on his h100i and even with the resistor and the fan controller they are way too noisy

Tbh I wont be using the fan controller anyway as I read continuous stories of it failing...they will be plugged straight into mobo maybe via splitter so will be running at full rpm.

The quiet editions just don't shift as much air as the normal sp editions. I was considering some quiet noctua's but the color scheme just doesn't work for me.

I'm using a BitFenix Recon Black in mine. Cannot fault it. You can have as many profiles as you like and you can set the fan speed to change depending on the temp in your case.

Worth the purchase!!

I did look at those but the only thing I don't like is having temp sensors everywhere in your case.

How does it control fan speed, does it just adjust voltage as the fans I will be buying wont be PWM?

You dont need to place the temp sensors anywhere, just leave them bundled on the 5.25" bay behind the controller.

The fan speed is controlled by the temps on the sensors when using auto. You can however, set the fan speed for auto based on the temps. For example, if the internal temp hits 30, all fans can be set to full.

If using manual, you can set the speed as you wish. I have 4 profiles:

Low - 400/500 RPM
Med - 600-800RPM
High - 900-1200 RPM
Off - All fans switched off.

You have better control using the beta software instead of using the BitFenix one. You can also set a start & shutdown profile using the beta. If you set the beta software in the startup folder, you can simply right click on the icon in the system tray and set the profile. It's that easy.

I would also recommend a fan controller, I have the more simple but stylish Scythe Kaze Q so in idle with all knobs turnt down system is virtually silent, I put them on full blast ofc when I'm gaming :)
