Ok, before anyone types "Adobe Dreamweaver" I'm not going to for out £385.

Price range < £100.

Current favourite is Rapidweaver.

So any suggestions?

Another vote for coda here. Fantastic program that does everything you will need in one program. A little pricey but worth every penny.

Are you after a text editor or WYSIWYG editor?

I would say WYSIWYG.. so I can focus on what I'm writing rather than writing the pages individually - also I get the impression that the further away you get from coding it by hand.. either it's expensive an flexible or cheap but inflexible.

Coda looks good as a hackers favourite tool (a bit like toad for SQL etc) and I like the eBook idea too..

RapidWeaver looks like a good tool to automate things (it's a bit more than a CSS site re-styler) so once written into a theme (or used a pre-created) you can mix'n'match without the coding and focus on the content!
