Creating your own Windows screensavers

Hi guys,

I'm after a bit of freeware that will allow me to create screensavers. Nothing fancy, just something usable and functional

Any ideas?

Animated or a series of still images?

I used irfanview at work to make a simple image moving clockwise company logo

Does anyone still use screensavers these days? I havn't used a screensaver since Windows Me.

I don't, just set the screen to turn off after 15/20 mins.

I don't do screen savers either, they'll be for my students

Quite common in the workplace, my employer has some fancy flash thing with including a hyperlink, which seems a bit stupid given the fact that as soon as you move the mouse it disappears...

So wasteful and useless.

Tell them for a small fee you can save the company money and improve their green credentials at the same time. Just make sure you have the cash before you go round turning all the screensavers off.

Actually that's genius

Like those web pages and such with the 'click here' button that runs away from the mouse. I wonder how much wasted employee time has been spent on sitting idle at the computer for the screen to come back up to 'try' for another go at clicking the link

You know some will have done it..

only when workers can change it, here where I work the screen goes to sleep and the users know to move the mouse/ 5000 workstations.
