I always pay for large cost items on a interest free credit card when possible.

Having said that I do have over 5k of debt with a “store” card like credit scheme but that’s four years interest free credit, the money is in a savings account earning interest and can be paid off straight away if required.

Did this with my 4090...
12 months interest free, money sat aside earning interest and will be clearing the debt the day before interest becomes due :D

Sub-prime lending is like jumping in to a piranha tank with a papercut. Once those bell ends sniff you out, they move heaven and earth to get to you and get you to sign up to their stuff. I speak from experience.

OP, pay it off and run a mile. A very, very long mile.

Done that now and again when possible - bought a laptop on interest free credit a couple of years back and stuck the money in an ISA - was on target for about £200 interest (over the period of the loan) but with rates now might be well above that even unless they get decimated again.
