Right well I just got my hands on a Creative Inspire 5.1 Digital 5700, for free (always good, right?).

Now what I'm doing is trying to connect this to my PC but I don't have the correct leads. On my motherboard I only have the stereo/line in/mic/spidf_out (asus p5n-e sli).

What will I need to connect this too my PC. This is the back panel on the kit:

Also, I'm missing one of the wires, for the sub. The back of the sub has the connections for normal speaker wire, i.e black/red clippy thingys. but on the unit as you can see it's the other sort of connection.

Any ideas on the name of the wire I need?

tia.

Looks like you need either a coaxial cable or an optical cable to connect to the PC, your board supports both of these by the look on Asus' site. As for the sub cable, you could use a stereo phono cable and chop one end off and pare the wires down and insert the ends into the sub terminals, polarity would have to be correct though.
