Creative S750 speakers

Hi, I am finishing off my meagre HTPC, and have sort of run out of cash

so the idea of an amp and seperates is unfortunately only a pipedream at the moment.

On the bay there is a 7.1 S750 set for sale which seems cheap enough, but im worried if it will allow me to enjoy to any degree blu-ray films.

Any opinions on it? I only play Counter strike source, so games are not really important, but I would not want to waste my money on these if they are crap for movies.

I've read some reviews on them, but all the reviews are really old, so im not sure if they are still pertinant.

These the 700watt 7.1 set ? I have them, there amazing.

Agreed. In that category (built in amp etc) i'd say they're one of the best.

I asked the guy on the auction and he said they are creative but they have cambridge soundworks or something else written on the back of them.

Worth £120?

Yup they're made by Cambridge SoundWorks and yah i'd say they're worth £120 (assuming they're in good nick and haven't been trashed!)
