creative + vista

Just for the record, yesterday my extreme music turned up, and it installed ok, working great. No problems with it yet:D

I only have the audigy 2 so I don't know if its the same, but there is a creative audio console thing where I can switch on CMSS, which gives a kind of psuedo 3d-ish sound. yeah I fiddled with the settings to see if it was anything to do with certain settings remaining on all the time instead of off, but I'm not sure. Everything is set up the same as before in XP, so I don't see why there should be a sound difference but there is...

Oh well, for the time being I am using my onboard sound which I can definitely say, is better in vista.

just to let you know, thats the card i was complaining about, it's not crashed the system or anything, but the audio performance is below par.. (crackling etc) was fine in xp

I've just bought it today, and it's working fine so far, sound much better than onboard.
