hello all

i,m thinking of the x-fi extrememusic and i heard thats it does have issues with nforce4 based motherboards, any feedback on the card and the issue would be great.

i have the audigy 2 installed at the moment, would this cause an issue when i install the x-fi drivers once i uninstall everything .

thanks

Iv just got an X-FI and works fine with my NF4 SLI board, and OH MY GOD, ITS AWESOME, way better than my previous SB Audigy, thats with the same speakers as well, getting s750's 2moz :D

did you have any issues installing the drivers for the x-fi after the uninstall of the audigy 2 drivers.

and does the x-fi have the eax console and controls

What I did was remove creative drivers, shut down pc, remove audigy, boot in safe mode, run driver cleaner removing anything thats creative. Shut down, install X-FI card and the drivers+software that came with it, then I installed the new drivers from the web after that, sorted! :)

Just got my x-fi working with my z-5500 and damn it sounds sweet so much better than i was expecting as i had an audigy 2zs before. Vast improvement. Bass is more punchy everythings clearer. I could rant for ages!!!
