Got a problem with my creative x4 external soundcard, when the pc starts it hisses very badly so bad i have to remove the usb power cable then put it back in to get sound.
Also in the picture where it says speakers its black before i was able to configure what sound set up i wanted,im starting to this its broke as ive tryed moving the usb cable on the pc to another port nothing also ive tryed uninstalling drivers then putting them back on.

Probably unhelpful, but my X4 had similar awful hiss on boot and various stability problems that went away after clean windows install
Some combination of chipset/audio/w11 24h2 combination

As Alec said, I also has this issue on my build, and after a clean install it went back to normal, dont really know why, but guessing at Chipset driver or something similar

Did a fresh install of winds 11 as i updated my bios and forgot that i cant get my pin on logon, worked great for a frw days but this morning its back, tryed lowing the bit rate still nothing so im going to order a usbc cable as my board supports it to see if that helps.

Tryed it in four.
Only does this on the first time I start the pc, I pull the power to the x4 put it back in and it's fine.

At long last I've found out the problem, it's the kbs setting to high and it makes the hissing, all sorted now :)

I ordered the G6 i think its called and wasnt impressed with it,this is my first external soundcard im happy with, the sound in games is amazing.
