Well its now time for my old system to retire gracefully. I wanted to game and work on it (Office mainly) I would appreciate if you can critique this for me please.

Not bothered about RGB as it stands by my desk so you cant see inside, Plus I have always had a tower for expansion and upgrades with little worry.

I tried to pick quality parts with a decent shelf life. I intend to ask OcUK to build this for me as time is tight at the moment.

I already picked up an Alienware 3418DW, keyboard and mouse which are still in the boxes !

1 BU-0CU-TL 8Pack Limited Edition - Overclocked i7 8086K @ 5GHz Intel Upgrade Bundle £884.99

1 GX-410-AS Asus GeForce GTX 1080Ti ROG Strix OC 11264MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card £899.99 (£70 cheaper elsewhere  OcUK will pricematch :D)

1 HD-234-SA Samsung 1TB 860 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 64 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-76E1T0B/EU) £199.99

1 HD-23R-SA Samsung 970 PRO Polaris 512GB M.2 2280 PCI-e 3.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive £188.99 £188.99

1 CA-019-PT Phanteks Enthoo Primo Full Tower - Black/Red £219.95 £219.95

1 CA-029-SF Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W Fully Modular "80 Plus Titanium" Power Supply - Black £359.99

Total £2753.90

Do you need the speed of the 970 SSD? I am assuming you are going to use it as a boot drive with core apps? i dont think you would see much of a performance gain over the 860 for general use.
You may be better off getting 2 1TB 860's!

Also why have you picked a 1600w power supply? you could probably power 3 of those computers with that!
650w-750w will be ample for that build!

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £100.49 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Good quality solid unit with 10 year warranty.

Are you planning on doing custom loop water cooling ? As a full tower like the Primo will look empty with just a standard air or aio cooler.

Which bundle is that ? as I can't seem to find it on the store page.

As mentioned above that psu is way more than you need.

Thats a lovely build , I just cant get on with the case as its says only 2 3.5" hard drives , is that right ?

I'm also changing out the AIO for the 360 version as well

Plus I have no idea what digital halo is :D

Indeed. Sorry , was focusing on the halo covers. Digital ones have addressable led , the standard doesn't

Okay, ready to hit the button on my first build in 10 years

Replacing the cooler in the bundle with the Alphacool one, hoping to get a discount on the case and pricematch on the Ti.

OcUK will be building this , anything I have missed ??

That power supply  You could easily chop the price in half by going with a good quality 650W Gold rated unit. A Titanium rated unit isn't going to save you much on the old power bill unless you are using the pc 24/7 365 days a year :D
