Hi I just got a vapor-x ATI 4890 x 2048

was wondering what would be best to cross fire with it to get Very high settings
on crysis with a decen frame rate

its good on 1 of these cards but fps is a bit low 25-30
saw somewhere that another card would get it to 60 etc maxed out on very high

what do you reckon - cheers

i might be wrong but i think you are best to crossfire it with the same card as if you use a slower one it will slow the faster card down?? (not 100% on this though)

Also what board do you have because its better to have 2 pci-e 16 slots to get the most out of crossfire!

you would also need a good PSU to cope with it!

Well from my experience your best off just buying two of the same card if possible. And im pretty sure 2x 4890's will handle crysis at max settings. What resolution do you use?

I was running Windows XP with my Crossfire setup i had problems with a pulsing screen/flicker only in dark areas of maps but apart from that i thought XP run games very well, Untill I installed Windows 7 wow my crossfire has come alive COD 5 world at war runs smoother faster and seems to look better too.
