A while ago (with X1900 cards) I was trying crossfire with dual monitors which was a pain as you had to disable the 2nd monitor and reboot before crossfire would work
I even tried a 3rd basic card (both ati and nvidia) and neither would work properly with crossfire enabled.
I know you can use two pairs of cards in crossfire, but Im wondering if anyone has tried having a crossfire set (im guessing you stil are only capable of running a single monitor on the crossfire pair?) - and a single card for a seperate monitor and whether it matters what generation of card the 3rd one is?
