Hi all, thanks in advance for reading and any help/advice given.

I recently made the jump from AMD Chip sets to INTEL after i spent £270 on a processor which just couldnt cut it.

I went from 49 FPS average on most high end performance games to 70+ now so couldn't be happier. And thats before overclocking my 4770k from 3.5ghz!

Anyway here is my system:

Maximus VI Hero
Intel 4770k
HD7970 X2
Geil EVO Corsa 2x4gb XMP Enabled.
Corsair HX 850w

So I started off with the most simple benchmark, Hitman Absolution. (It was one of the games i was having problems with on pervious set up so made sense to set my mind at rest and try it.

So from 47 fps on my old pc it bumped to 60.
I then disabled ULPS in regedit as MSI Afterburner caused problems for some unknown reason.
It then bumped my fps to 65.
Then in CCC, Graphics Overdrive, i bumped up both cards to 1125/1575 and power +20% which increased my fps to 70-72.

My question is... coming soon... :-p I set my cards to 1125/1575 because that is the maximum that Graphics Overdrive lets me in CC on my reference card and I've read its best to keep both cards the same. But my MSi FrozR can reach 1500/2000...

Here is the question. Should i try OC the FrozR some more to incrase performance again? Or am i just getting carried away with these constant improvements and just leave it as it is now?

Thanks for reading

My adivce would be to keep both cards clocked at the same level.

Might i ask what resolution you are gaming at?

Mine is
Min - 58
Max - 82
Avg - 69

Matt was also similar results.

Fair enough but you are running 7950's and Sandybridge instead of his 7970's and Haswell and still getting a better score.

*EDIT Although i guess you are using a lower res, but even so i would still expect the 7970's to be 10-15% better.

1080p here I have no idea why i getting better score lol could very well be the res 1080p vs 1200p

Guys I average 70fps on the hitman benchmark and thats with my CPU not over clocked. Will easily bump to 80-90 so dont know what the big deal is. I also use absolute MAX settings

Hitman is heavy on the cpu. It benefits from overclocking the cpu to get constant 99% gpu usage on the benchmark.

I've recently moved from AMD CPUS, to INTEL CPUS... Ive been doing tests on hitman bench mark as it was the game i was testing before i moved.

Im getting 70-73fps average on absolute max settings, resoultion 1920x1200 and MSAA x8 is this normal?

Also I have both my cards clocked to 1125/1575 and power controll +20%

But when i go to disable ULPS and restart and try to load a game... I blue Screen. Also when im just idle my GPU2 is 99% usage whilst GPU1 is idle. ...

Thanks in advance for any advice you give.
