i have a powercolor 4870 in my pc now but just got another 4870 sapphire from my mums garage, i want to use both in either crossfire or just run them as single cards, basicly i want to use one of them for folding al the time and the other for gaming, but then use both for folding when im doing nothing at all.

if i use crossfire will 1 set of drivers work? or am i better running single cards , i cant do anything yet till i get a better power supply.

i have an asrock 890GX EXTREME 4 motherboard if it matters

I don't think AMD cards are much good at folding.

Edit: you only install the drivers once. It will detect both cards and if you have them connected together with the CF bridge it will ask you if you wish to CrossFire enable them.

i get poor points but i also cpu fold at time, thew cards were basicly free so what ever they can do is a bonus. i only play quake 3 so dont intend to upgrade
