If I Crossfire a pair of 5770s, could I get away without buying one of those extortionate adapters and plug 2 monitors into 1 card and the final monitor into the second card?
 
IRC at the present time EYE and XFIRE isn't properly supported, this is due next year at some point.

yeah i read this aswell, joke to be honest, pushing eyefinity and then in the small print is a list of requirements, why they couldnt put 3 dvi connections on i dont know, but its a fail to me at the moment
 
Yup thats what im waiting for aswell. Got 3 dell monitors sitting here doing nothing. Getting rather impatient, im thinking about selling my 5770s and buying a 5870.. less performance for more money, hmmm lol
