crossfire cable?

do I need a crossfire cable ? no cable came with either of my 2 6950's, but at the back of the box its said crossfire plug and play.... have they gotten rid of the cable ?

yeah, definitively none in either of the boxes.... there is very few instructions with it, and I can't seem to find where to buy the crossfire cable on OC / really any other sites I've looked

Do i need one of two ? some crossfire pics seem to contain 2 connected , others seem to have one, I can only seem to find one place where the cable would connect

HD 6950's have 2 "fingers" on each card but you only need to 1 cable to connect 2 cards.

only seems to be one ''finger'' on each card, so one will have to do

Are you sure you bought HD 6950's? They have 2.

The HD 6850 and HD 6870 have 1.

The 6990 only has one connector for my other 6970 so 2 vs. 1 is nonsense

The 10cm ones are like gold dust mate, so I cannot give you that one. EBAY if you need 10cm

My xfire and SLI cables came with my mobo not my gfx cards

Got an SLI cable, in the manual an ''accessory" that I could have gotten was a crossfire cable...but their website doesnt even list any
