Crossfire GPU usage BF4

Hey Guys,

I'm getting constant 95% usage on both GPUs in BF4. No fluctuation, just pegged at 95%. I'd normally expect to to hit 99% at times and perhaps drop at points.

Can anyone explain this?

CPU is 4770k @ (only, for the moment) 4.4Ghz.

Be happy it is 95%! Some people get 60%

Ever heard the expression about a "Gift Horse"?

Dunno really, mine run around 65-75% most of the time and can vary depending on the map. I think it could be down to only 1Gb VRAM per card. CPU is not bottlenecking so only started to analyse this myself.

mine run at 95-100% (7970 crossfire) with a 3770k at 4.5ghz.

Though i think i might has a separate issue, as the above is with v-sync on.

Higher player / larger maps use more CPU and prevent the cards maxing out.

1, What is your cpu usage when the cards are pegging?
2, What graphics settings?
3, Is this multiplayer / Single?

I get 50-75% with my 5850's.

Older games scale really well, but new ones suck. Run out of memory a lot too. Going to upgrade to a single card pretty soon, probably a 290.
