Crossfire Help

Can any 1 help we this 1 I Have got 2 asus HD 7970 DirectCU II in crossfire.When i enable Crossfire the second card is on full load and crashes sum times. i have tried at least 5 different drivers out there and all doing the same thing

both of the cards are fully working in non crossfire.

The specs are

AMD FX 8320 @4700mhz
Asus Crosshair V Formula Z AMD 990FX
corshire 850 pw
Ram 16gb G skill 1600mhz
2 samsung 840 SSD

Could be your PSU can't cope with them. Have you tried one card in both slots, and again for the other?

Corsair TX 850W V2 High Performance '80 Plus Bronze am using that power Supply is plenty for them 2 cards

I had a huge problem when i first crossfired,although mine crashed all the time from the moment it was enabled but both cards worked perfect with it disabled. Long story short my problem came down ULPS.
Basically i had to disable ulps through the registry its a powersaving sceme that messed with my second gpu, Although i dont think this is your problem give it a go!
Search the registry for enableULPS and change the 1 to 0

Hope it works although i dont think it will!

You can disable ULPS Via afterburner. Couple of threads here that might help guide you toward the light.

How To Make Sure Crossfire Is Working?

Might be worth a driver sweep, install latest 13.10 beta drivers, disable ulps, check crossfire is working properly. See the links above.

you could try another crossfire bridge if you have 1, just to rule it out

If you overclock and don't disable ULPS you're asking for trouble, as per the links i posted above.
