System as follows:
Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2 ghz
2x XFX HD4890 XXX Edition running in crossfire
Asus M4A77TD Pro Mobo
4 gig Corsair (2x2gb) Ddr3 1333mhz xms Cl9 (9-9-9-24)
Corsair 650W TX Series PSU
I've tested both graphics cards independentally and everything seems fine. As soon as I try to run in crossfire though I get intermittent problems which vary. Black screens, rainbow coloured screens and drops in framerate. Sometimes I get the rainbow screens at 1920 x1080 then if I play windowed its fine. I originally thought it might be an underpowered PSU but from everything I've read it should be fine. Any suggestions? I've tried everything (I think), reinstalling drivers, swapping the cards around, to no avail. I really want this working normally as it would be a waste of money if it didn't.
