The only thing i do like about him is that somehow hes got a fit bird, Abby Clancey and got her preggers even after cheating on her with some other girls...well played my son well played:p

Yes, and if he was 6ft whatever Crouch is, Chamakh would probably have scored a lot more than this.

Correct me if im wrong but he didnt exactly set the pitch on fire with his amazing goals did he??..that was Bale who spared you the embarrassment of being humiliated 4-1.

But i suppose if you want to give him credit for his hold up play then fair enough:)

Thought the reason for this defeat was poor defending

but upmost surely Bales superhuman performance 2nd half stopped the biggest defeat in CL History

Don't see how Crouch stopped them doing anything.

He didnt, it was Bale who scored the goals not Crouch and to me it seemed like Inter went off the boil...thought they were up 4-1 so lets just relax and see the game out...which didnt happen because if there were a few more mins left i reckon Spuds could and would drew that game...thats how utterly shambolic Inters defending was in the last 20mins or so of the game.
 
A comparison of Crouch -

Crouch and his height against someone like Les Ferdinand in his day.

Sir Les was fantastic in the air and could hold a ball up, with pace and finishing.

Crouch?

This is my biggest problem with crouch. Compared with the other "big" strikers in the game he's next to useless in the air and commits a lot of fouls when jumping for the ball.

So just because he's big he has to be good in the air? I don't get this logic. He never goes out and says that he's great in the air. He is a player who is good when he gets the ball into feet.
