they are fine, what size are you getting and what is its use?

I have the 2 x Samsung 850 evo and its a great drive.
 
Just looking at a 500ishGB SSD to give me some room to move and want the best bang for the buck.

Would be a system drive and hold some video files maybe a VM or two.
 
I read somewhere that it is two drives in one,the first with quite a small cache of decent performance nand and then a larger one that's not so fast,any idea if that's accurate?
 
Essentially it is as it carries an SLC/DRAM cache infront of the main TLC storage. The cache values are:
960GB = 12GB of cache
480GB = 6GB of cache
240GB = 3GB of cache

If you move files larger than the cache size for the drive then the write speed drops off quite considerably!
