Crucial C300?

I know that a new bunch of faster, better SSD's are on their way, however they look to be coming in at around £200+ for 120GB. I am able to get a 128GB Crucial C300 for about £145 new and was wondering whether it was worthwhile getting one of these or waiting for the new SSD's. Are the new drives really that much faster to make it worth paying an extra £55 upwards?

Also how much of a bottleneck is Sata 3gbps with SSD's and the C300 compared with Sata 6gbps?

£145 for a 128GB Crucial C300? I would buy one of them right now if I knew where. You'll be waiting another month atleast for the new drives and they will all be £50+ more expensive. Hit that buy button...

my C300 maxes out the SATA2 ports on my board, cant wait for a AM3+ board with the newer faster SATA3.0

I got my M225 replaced with a C300 last week and I'd very happily buy one for £145 if I was using a HDD still.

Why not just buy a SATA3 PCI card?

Guessing he doesn't want to fork out if he's going to upgrade to a sata 3 board in the next couple of months?
