Crucial m4 128gb firmware utility gives me an error, plz help

I can click continue and view licence agree then have a continue button but im wary of doing it when i get this error when the firmware tool starts.

What should i do?

It is the m4_SSD_Firmware_Update_Utility_000F.exe one.

Ok it was my mobile connected was the problem but with it working now i used it, the comp reboots but the firmware thing fails and i get a dos windows error cos of it. Any ideas how to get this to work?

Burn the bootable .iso image and try that instead.

The exe file is on the SSD right? Will not work if it's on another drive.

Download, burn to cd, restart pc, boot from cd.

But, just for knowledge, why you want to update to 000F??..
Even the guys moderating the official Crucial Forum didn't recommend to do it, unless you have a SAS system..
My advice: update to 0309.. It's the best, and have proven to be stable and fixed all the problems..

Got the firmware sorted. Was indeed the problem which was i had to have the firmware exe on the ssd and run it from there not on a hdd which i thought wouldnt matter but it does.

Updated ok so im on 000F now.
