Guys, trying to install W7 on this drive, it only just arrived today.. along with memory sticks. Upgrading the laptop from 4gb > 8gb of ram and from a mechanical drive to an SSD.

The memory modules seem to working fine, When i tried to do a clean install on the SSD it was ridiculously slow for one and kept going BSOD on me

Even though i had a W7 installation disc, I even went through the process of downloading an ISO and copying it over onto a USB drive to boot of that. same outcome though, a BSOD? I tried taking a picture, don't know why I bothered! the laptop just reboots after the BSOD.

I tried everything I can think of, going with 1 memory stick as opposed to two, formatting the SSD and trying to clean install again etc.

Basically just BSOD on me while I'm trying to create a username/pc name/entering serial/setting the time.

Have you checked you have put the BIOS in AHCI mode and not IDE? If it wasn't in AHCI mode, once you have changed it I would recommend re-formatting and re-installing Windows again.

It was the first thing I did when I first installed it, set it to AHCI mode in the BIOS :(
