Just seen this up, looks like the successor to the M500, reads up from 500 to 550 and writes from 400 to 500mbs, pricing also seems good, £382 for the 1 tb (1024gb) version. Anyone seen any reviews yet?

Yeah ive seen it listed, no reviews though.

Looks like a good drive. Prices in general for ssds have been moving steadily down.

Obviously with sata-e starting to appear and been more prevalent on the z97 x99 motherboards we are going to start seeing even quicker speeds since sata-e has greater bandwidth.

I keep getting tempted to pick up one of these big 1tb SSDs for my laptops storage drive and it's getting harder to resist as the prices seem to still be slowly dropping.

Yes, thinking of selling my 500gb Samsung 840 and getting a 1tb M500. Can see these dropping in price even more once the 550's become widely available.

Good review from anandtech. Pretty much as expected, there are quicker drives but for the price/performance its certainly a great drive from crucial.

Im sure OC will stock it soon enough.

It has certainly made the M500 ridiculously cheap. I'm struggling to not pull the trigger on a 480GB M500 at £170.
