Crucial P3

I don't see why the Heatsinks won't be able to sit on top of this NVMe drive.

Although be aware that the P3 is a DRAMless drive and some consider that to not be as ideal as one with DRAM Cache on it; the performance can tend to peak much sooner than a drive with DRAM Cache. And of course, you'll need Winows 10 or 11 to have HMB enabled to keep that RAM acting as Cache performance there, otherwise the performance will crash and stay at really low rates.

Yeah I know the Samsung won't fit no intention of taking off the heatsink.

That Kingston looks good enough for me, I need the 4 sata connections for storage drives or I would have used one of those.

FYI (since you were considering the P3): the T500 is a high-end drive PCI-E 4.0 drive from Crucial and has been on offer a lot lately, but from what I can see the 500GB version is poor value so I wouldn't recommend it.

Can confirm the T500 looks like the best performance to value ratio. They drop in price often too. End of Feb they were sitting at 59.99 for 1tb and 99.99 for 2tb. Performance is great and pretty much the best gen 4 has to offer.
