Crysis on anything but high settings is just not worth it. I also doubt the physics will be the same either on the consoles.

I'm tired of everyone ripping Crysis!
The game was amazing, and not just the graphics. The set peices were awesome and the destructability and physics interactions were good as well. The sound was also amazing.
It was 1000x better than FarCry 2 which actually was the biggest yawnfest of all time. Crysis had a nuke going off, a US battlefleet being sunk, an entire mountain falling apart, a pitched tank battle which you can take part in either in a tank or on foot. It's also got huge areas.
I still maintain most people played it, had to put up with lag and medium settings and instantly wrote off the game. I admit on very high with AA it even lags with my GTX 280 SLI setup at times, but it is unreal in terms of the sights and sound.
It also did not look like FarCry as has been said. If you want to see a real screenshot taken by a real person (me) and not some publicity shots, take a look at this:

You must have been playing a different game. All Crysis to me was terrible hit detection and boring AI. It had its moments but nothing to go crazy over.

Just because Crysis is open world doesn't mean its an automatic win. I'd take a good linear game over an average open world game any day of the week.
The hit detection was perfect, it's just they gave the enemies really high health unless you headshotted them which was a one shot kill.
The AI wasn't the greatest I'll give you that.

I must have had a broken game then. My headshots never registered as headshots.
Want me to post my opinions over in the PC forum too? Would that help?
I said the exact same things about Far Cry however many years ago that was before I owned a console and I feel exactly the same about Crysis now. Style over substance.
