Something is wrong with my Crysis 2 installation, its throwing up errors.

Leader-board updated.

Topic may have been done earlier but lets have a proper go this time.

Thanks for advice, have downloaded 960 drivers and am re-benching now.

Only 3 FPS improvement on newer drivers, multi-GPU is still very broken for me in this game. Fine in other games.

Edit: Problem seems related to MLAA and the new drivers. I disable AA and low and behold no more slide-show.

By disabling AA the frame rate more than doubles in both resolutions.

Looks like this (AA performance) is a known problem in Crossfire and it is broken.

I have posted on the Catalyst forum to confirm if there is a fix or not.

Looks like this is only a problem when using DX11. DX9 and 4xAA works fine.

Still stuck at a single GPU for the time being.

1 x 7970 1300/1880/1.3V. 3960K @ 4.5GHZ

1440p - 69.2avg
1080p - 80.1avg

I re-ran the 1080p benchmark over the weekend.

There is a bug in the benchmark program which results in the queue having its "AA" setting stripped on a re-start so, be wary!

1 x 7970 score 1300/1880/1.3V

1080p - 21.5/80.1avg

1. Simon Maltby - 1 x GTX680 19.8/97fps - 2600k @ 3.4GHZ

just to say CPU is actually at 4.8GHz not 3.4 :)

I have updated.

For single GPU at 1080p, my 7970 GPU core would need to be at or near 1550Mhz to beat that score - LN2 territory :)

I am using old drivers though but I doubt there is a 20% performance uplift in there to be had.

It would be fun to re-bench the 7970 against the 680 at 0xAA, same clocks using the Extreme preset. Would you be willing to do that? I want to see if the 20% performance delta remains at all settings.

My results are wrong in the OP besty! My CPU is at 4.5GHZ and my max fps is 97.2 not 57.2 :P

James, download GPU-Z and run a validation, post the link and have it in your screenshot.

You should not need to re-run the bench as its stored in the tool.

CPU-z is also helpful as it just confirms you are not running a crazy LN2 type setup which skews the result.

Gents.

I have done some further investigation, looks like the custom AA mode just is not supported by Crossfire and probably never will be.

All future benches need to be run with "0xAA" in the tool.

I have changed the topic.

All previous results will be kept.

My last submission with 4xaa - 1440p as my original result was invalid.

1 x 7970 at 1319/1878. 3.3/51.3 avg.

The new ver of afterburner seems to like picking funny numbers.
