Crysis 2 DX11 patch release date ?

They've confirmed a patch on the forums.
Just no date.

Without trying to stoke the fires, why on earth is this happening? I don't quite get it - release a game which doesn't take long to complete and then release a patch that brings it to its true glory months later? Assume the original specs include the DX11 patch? I wasn't aware of any of this until recently - did wonder why my mediocre machine ran the game pretty well @ 1080p

Already played, completed it and uninstalled it. Won't reinstall it. Won't be buying another Crytek game on release.

Think there's going to be lots of disappointed people - "it looks the same but runs at 10fps "

The thing is if we believe what we've been told about DX10/11 in the past, it should look largely the same but actually run FASTER

Anyway, I'm waiting for this patch before buying the game (just like I waited for DX10 patch before getting Call of Juarez), hopefully price should have fallen by then.

Good thing I haven't even finished crysis yet! Then I'll be moving onto Warhead, then finally I'll get crysis 2 if it tickles my fancy

don't forget crysis wars, great game, it can keep me entertained for ages
