Crysis 2 E3 Videos *Just watch them*

it would be nice to see some pc footage, it makes you wonder why they havent shown pc clips.
Probably unoptimized my bet.

did you bother to watch the video's he clearly states.

This will be the best graphics for a FPS on console
They are going to kick their own butts regarding crysis 2 graphics on pc

he's pretty much said outright that the pc graphics will far surpass the original crysis

gotta say im not so looking forward to this now :/ i know its console but wont be at all impressed if this is how it looks on pc :/

also i much prefer the island layout and the more stealthy approach, if its just like this vid, then i may not even buy it :/

Another person that didn't listen to what the guy in the video said

it may look better it may not, my biggest issue is the constant action on both videos, i liked crysis because it was different,

this game seems closed, there doesnt seem to be so much sniper potential, the way i like to play

you gotta remember the console boys would get bored if it was a vid walking through tree's or a city with no action going whereas the pc boys would be overjoyed.

Think to many peeps are jumping to conclusions about their new generic engine which allows it to output to console or pc from the same interface. It's something that was built from the ground up so none of us have any idea what it's like. Altho there are some good vids of the engine on google/tube

think it will be awesome on pc and i think they will of made the pc version a lot sweeter looking it is the poster child for graphics.

as for the ai bits of lag no problem prolly a beta or demo which isnt full game release yet anyway. only game i see this year which looks good if im honest.

It does look good but as a huge fan of Crysis/warhead, I think this is going to leave me a bit a disappointed. Removing the human enemies, if you like or loathe the aliens, is probably more about ERSB crap. Small things like hurling a korean in the air and shooting him wont be possible and lack of wide open space will be really missed, you are going to get funnelled around. There wont be any rampaging around throwing crockery this time.

I don't say it often but this does look like a huge case of consolitis. A shame really. I'm sure some of this is down to all the people that threw their toys out of the pram when they couldn't run it at 60fps at max settings, decided it was a crap game and cried like bitches.

gotta say the human bit was my favourite, throwing one guys helmet at another to kill him and hitting someoene with the gauss to see them fly along way back will be sorely missed, or just comming up behind, grabbing them and see there faces, meh thats what ill miss :/

It does appear to of lost it's ability to build tension, although there were big battles like that in Warhead and that IMO was better than the first one so we'll have to see what the all the levels are like.
