Pc dx9 vs 360

Not really sure where the pc footage came from. Seems to run quite smoothly on both though.

Hard to tell how it really looks like with a youtube video. Also pity it's not running on very high. High seems to work on an old PC so very high DX11 should hopefully run on an up to date nv 470 or ati 5870 GPU.

Far more interested in visual quality/performance Vs the original Crysis, I don't think it's absurd to hope for an improvement on both counts.

Aye it looks very similar to COD.

PC version is definitely better, but it was only on high, and DX9 so we shall see how smooth and good it looks at the higher settings.

Looks very good for a 260 card though

I'm surprised how close both versions look based on the footage it doesn't appear to be direct feed so its dificult properly compare the two.

Is the PC version also locked at 30fps because both seem to being running at the same framerate?

was he moving around faster in the pc version ?
anyway hard to tell the graphical difference when the video is 720p and the xbox version is running at 720p.....so the higher pixel count on the pc version is wasted in this vid.

suspicious minds, why on earth is he running it on a 260...

I'm still expecting a much more optimised game, so will be purchasing this, and if the online combat is akin to COD but without the stupid fisher-price perk system then ill be satisfied that I'll have an engrossing single player (I actually enjoyed the first) and a multiplayer that I can pop on now and again.

I can't actually see the video, youtube is blocked :(

I imagine that it would be difficult to get the console version to the graphics settings of the pc original, due to the fact that they're working with a 4 y/o gpu :p

But could someone tell me if the pc version look better than the original?

Thanks

Bang on the money. And why not? They smeel blood and a gap in the market. The COD series is currently in decline. MW2 and BO have brought it to new lows.. and this is giving an oppurtunity to the Battlefield community or any other Dev to step in to the market slowly receding from Activision.

I say all the better. It means that Activision will be underpressure to make sure that MW3 is indeed the successor to COD4 and we all win.

Complacancy breeds stagnation and lethargy, competition, and we get innovation and quality!

Bring it on.

agree with it looking like CoD....

but yes, it's impossible to tell the visual quality with that level of blocking on the yootoob vid...
